Before I started medical school, I told my family and friends that I wouldn’t be able to travel for the next 6 years. That statement could not have been further from the truth (and don’t worry they always remind me). Throughout undergrad and even now, I have been able to plan budget and take trips from Coast to coast in the US and to countries around the world, too!
